In addition to quilts, I enjoy making other sewing as well. Lately I’ve made up my own design for an organizer to keep sewing supplies together when I take a project on a trip, or just to keep things together around the house. I like keeping supplies in it with the mending pile so I have what I need. Sometimes I put it in a purse to take thread and needle along with a small hand-sewing project when I’m going to visit a friend.

I also make re-usable produce bags. These are great for fruit and vegetables instead of the plastic bags at the grocery store, or to use when you go to the farmers market.
