W.I.P Wednesday

Finished:
Batik Granny Squares was finished last weekend. This has been a slow project for me, mostly on the back burner and I’m finishing mine way after the ‘hype’ in quilt blog land ended. Still I’m happy with it and glad it’s finally done.

Water & Sun
I finished piecing the squares for this quilt top this past weekend also. It is just waiting for a white border. The border will help make sure it’s square and that it doesn’t shift when I baste it.

I love Water & Sun. Did you mix batiks and regular prints, or is it all batiks?

Congratulations on the Granny Square finish. I am even slower than you. I have gathered fabrics in a project box, but haven’t even started cutting squares yet. I do intend to make that quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Both of these quilts are stunning! Your Water and Sun immediately caught my eye and I love the depth within the blocks. Beautiful work.
