Today was our first hard frost, with temps down in the 20s this morning. I don’t have any pretty frost pictures from the garden, but I do have these from the top of Mt. Cardigan.
We rose at 3:30 to meet some friends and drive to Mt. Cardigan to hike it in time to to view the sunrise. It was a nice hike up in the dark.
We saw the crescent moon & Venus as the color began to creep into the sky.
Then we bundled up on the bare top to wait for the sun to rise.
On our way back down in the morning light.
The sun was just showing over the peak.
After breakfast at a diner and a nap, we did do some garden clean up.
