It’s been two months since my last W.I.P. update.
Finished
Batik Sampler
I finished this one in time to enter it in the local fair and won a blue ribbon in my category.

Silverware Baskets
I also recently made 9 of these cloth baskets for the silverware and utensils in my silverware drawer. The wooden dividers never fit right, but I could custom make these.
The outsides are fruit prints (cranberries, blueberries and cherries) and they are lined with linen.

The chopstick one is lined with chinese silk, thanks to my sister.

Now the whole drawer is better organized.

Made Progress
Half-Square Triangle Diamond Quilt
With the Batik quilt finished, I switched back to this one for a wedding that’s quickly approaching. I finished the top, basted it with pins and am now working on hand quilting it with simple lines.

If you look closely you can see I have 2 or 3 needles going at once in the hoop. I find this allows me to follow the lines within the hoop, then move the hoop and continue with the same needles.

Those silverware baskets are really neat. Is that your own design?
No It’s something I saw and bookmarked a while ago.
I linked to the pattern source.
I love your HST diamonds! What a great layout and color mix. And I think I need some of those drawer organizers for my own kitchen!
Love your sampler. Your HST quilt is looking amazing too! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday.
Loved seeing your hand quilting project…what a great tip to have a few needles on the go at the same time!
