I didn’t get out to harvest quite as much this week. We ended up with 5.5 oz of lettuce, and 1.5 oz of green garlic. The green garlic went into a sun-dried tomato pesto.

Sundried Tomato Pesto sounds wonderful!
No matter how little we harvest it is always nice to have something green to eat from the garden.
That lettuce is so beautiful in that blue colander! Crisp and with a variety of textures and colors – I bet they tasted good too.
That pesto does sound wonderful. Your greens look nice and crisp.
The lettuce is beautiful! I just love your header photo. I have never made sun dried tomato pesto…..sounds like a good idea
We made it based on this recipe from eating well. We substituted the green garlic for the garlic and added pine nuts or walnuts because we like that in our pesto.
The lettuces are beautiful. They must make a great salad.
