Unrelenting Winter

On Saturday I took this photo of the snowdrop that has sprouted in our front herb bed when we went out for an afternoon walk.

When we returned, the snow had melted away. By the end of Sunday, most of Fridays snow was gone, and we were back to the larger snow piles.

Unfortunately this morning the snow started up again.

I went out to snap a photo of my first winter aconite that’s almost ready to bloom because I knew the bright yellow would be good against the white snow background.

The snow drops were hard to see amidst the accumulating flakes.

I got my pictures, it can stop snowing now.

Sorry to hear that you got more snow. All we got was rain in that storm.
